Travel to New Zealand
Indian citizens wishing to travel to New Zealand must apply for a New Zealand visa for Indians. Indians can apply for a tourist visa, known as the New Zealand visitor visa.
You can get this visa if you wish to visit New Zealand as a tourist, visit family and friends, or participate in a short course. With this visa, you can stay in the country for up to 3 months.
Here are the documents you’ll need:
- A valid passport must be valid for at least 6 months with 3 blank pages.
- 2 Passport size photos. The picture size should be 35 x 45 mm.
- Proof of accommodation for the entirety of your trip to New Zealand.
- Proof of flight ticket to New Zealand with a return ticket to India.
- Proof of Sufficient funds. In the form of bank statements, saving books, fixed deposit certificates, or Completed sponsorship form INZ 1025 if your visit is sponsored by a New Zealand citizen/resident.
- Work reference letter. It should state position, salary, length of employment, and leave approval from the employer.
- If self-employed, provide a company registration certificate, recent business tax returns with the income statement, and current account statements.
Steps to be followed by the Indians: – Apply online.
Step 1. Create your RealMe Account on the New Zealand Immigration website.
Step 2. Sign in to your RealMe account—enter your email address and get a verification code and provide a username and a password.
Step 3: Start Your Online New Zealand Visa Application. Apply for your tourist visa on “myvisas” option. Pay your visa fees during the application process.
Step 4:- Wait for your visa to be Processed.
